Silence is relative. Some say silence is golden. Ask a young mother and she will say silence is trouble. Ask a deaf man he will ask in return, what is silence.

In a few weeks we will be in the mountains of Colorado, in a secluded cabin with no internet, phones or television. I long for this silence, shutting out all the negativity of the world, drawing nearer to God and my family, trading all the cares and worries that constantly bombard my heart for silence. But one silence that is hard to bare is a silence from God. I know God hears my prayer and I know He is working and preparing His perfect answer but for the time being, there is silence. It's a struggle that can cause doubt in the minds of many but I encourage you, in times where God is silent, do not lose heart, don't be discouraged, God will answer your prayer, in his time and in his way. Try instead to sit in silence with Him and see the extra quiet time as a blessing.

"Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him." Psalms 62:5 NLT

  1. The workpiece is hooked up to a spindle that can either rotate high precision machining or remain stationary while chopping tools take away materials from it. When using a 3-axis CNC milling machine, the material block remains fastened in a vice or on a machine mattress. Rotating drills or chopping tools are linked to a spindle and move alongside the X, Y, and Z axes, eradicating shavings to precisely form the final part. 3-axis CNC milling machines are wonderful for producing most geometries and easy parts.
