Green, the color of my eyes, reminiscent of spring and the
color you'd better be wearing today or I'll pinch ya!! Funny how superstitions
and traditions can travel through time and generations without even knowing the
reason for it! I don't know why you pinch one not wearing green on St Patrick's
day, but I pinch nonetheless! I realize this is a silly instance but knowing
what we practice is actually very important. Well, curiosity got the best of me
and I had to look it up, you wear green to be invisible to Leprechaun who pinch
anyone they see. But what if it was to represent something else, something
evil, something completely opposite to the teachings of Christ? It's important
that we know why we do what we do and that all the things we do bring glory to
God! Now that we know the reason to pinch, I think we are good to continue, so
pinch with kindness and continue to seek out the reasoning behind why you do
what you do. "Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions; I will
put them into practice with all my heart." Psalms 119:34
