Sometimes you just feel stuck in life. Stuck in a situation, a job, a relationship, a mindset. You feel like no matter how hard you try you can't change things. Well, who's to say it's up to you to change it? According to the world, people should be self made and self reliant and in every situation the world tells us to do what is best for ourselves. Contrary to this world view it is not all about me! Having a Christ centered mindset may not change your situation but it will certainly change the way you feel about it. Relying on God in every single aspect of life is the most freeing feeling imaginable. The fact that, even when I know there is nothing I personally can do, my God, who has made all things, has me and the situation in his hands. Changing my mindset from one of self pity to like-mindedness with Christ has allowed me so often to stop feeling stuck and rather allow my patience to be refined within and peace to settle my uneasy mind. Romans 8:28 "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."
