When I was younger, and by younger I mean just a few years ago, I could remember everything, and that's hardly an exaggeration. I could remember phone numbers and birthdays and anniversaries and names and faces and debit card and social security numbers. My brain was a well of information!

But now, blank! It has become exceedingly harder over the years to remember much of anything. I have so many things going on all the time my mind can't seem to hold anything new. Numbers, dates, even words are hard to form into complete thoughts sometimes. I make lists and notes and reminders all day everyday so I can remember the things I know I'll forget. I am human and this is a human trait.

My blessed Savior, my Lord and God, the only thing He ever forgets is our sin when we ask for his forgiveness. But, he never forgets about us. Even when we forget to read or pray or study or witness, He never forgets us. He is faithful and loving and He thinks about Me and He thinks about you! How incredible is it to know that with all the things God has going on, He still never forgets about you?

“Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!" Isaiah 49:15 NLT
