"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit
saps a person’s strength." Proverbs 17:22. God's word never seizes to
amaze me! I have had a wonderful few days spending time with my best friend, my
Husband, my family and now my grand babies are staying the night! It's so easy
for me to let the hustle and bustle of daily life break my spirit and sap my
strength. Spending time with loved ones has been the medicine my body needed! I
woke up this morning so rejuvenated and rested! If you're feeling down, I encourage
you to spend some time with the ones you love; if they're far away, give them a
call. Snuggle a baby if one is around, listen to children laughing, catch up
with a dear friend, browse the aisles of Hobby Lobby with instrumental hymns
playing and look at Christmas decor! All of these things are sure fire ways to
turn a broken spirit into a cheerful heart!
