Oh fall, you're such a welcome season! You bring a cool breeze and crispness to the air, you bring delightful fragrances and yummy treats, you bring beautiful colors and bountiful harvests.

I've probably said it here before and I'm sure I'll say it again but I'm so thankful that God has us in the Ozarks where we can experience the change of seasons. I appreciate so much how the changing seasons beautifully illustrate the seasons of life and how God can make even the hardest situation into a glorious display of His power. If you're going through something right now that seems ugly and impossible, just be patient and wait for God's plan to be revealed. Just as the leaves turn to blazing oranges, yellows and reds in their time, so will God's glory shine ever so brightly, in his time.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord . “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine." Isaiah 55:8 NLT
