As they say, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry". We can plan our day, week, vacation, life: yet sometimes all of these plans will inevitably just not work out. We can't always take into account weather, illness, accidents, wait times at a restaurant! What we can do is allow our patience to be refined, trust in the Lord that his timing is best, that he knows us best and that we can know that no matter if our plans go right, wrong, or completely in another direction, that God's got us, that he is in control.
"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." Proverbs 16:9
