Well, it's that time of year once again. A time where many
in America want to accuse each other of only being thankful during this time of
year... is that true? Also, is it entirely false? I know I do tend to think
about thankfulness more readily during this time of year but I would also like
to think that even tough I don't think about it as much for the rest of the
year that I am thankful throughout nonetheless. I know one thing is certain...I
am beyond Thankful that God woke me up today, that I am a very blessed woman
with a wonderful family, friends and church family. And that I have a song in
my heart that, "I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart, I
will enter His courts with praise. I will say this is the day that the Lord has
made. I will rejoice for He has made me glad"
Psalm 100:4 reminds me of that.
I urge you each to evaluate yourselves, are you rightly accused of only being
thankful at thanksgiving? Or do you wake each day, rejoicing because He made
the day and because He has made you glad?
Still Kindly Pondering, Ivy
