Ok, one last time: Proverbs 3:5-6 “ Trust in
the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths.” This time, we focus on the middle section. Lean not on my own
understanding… boy, that’s a tough one! We talked last week about the
intrusiveness of ALL, well, we want to have control of it all. We want to be
the one to decide what to do and how to live. Well, at least I know I have
struggled with that! It’s hard to remove myself from the equation, especially
when I think God is taking too long to answer my “needs”. I must trust that God
is in control! It’s hard and honestly, sometimes it hurts to be patient and not
let my selfishness lead me down a path that is not where God has led, but by
trusting and acknowledging Him, He truly will lead me in the way I am to go.
