Being prepared for anything is not a menial task. It takes hard work and determination to do things the right way. Whether it's being prepared for a basketball game, a meeting or witnessing to others about Christ; they all require the same level of attention to be your best and do your best. You must study and learn and then practice to hone your skill so to not look like a fool when it comes time to perform, present, or speak. For a Christian especially, prayer is an intrical part of preparedness no matter what activity we desire to be prepared for. Luke 21:36 "Be alert at all times. Pray so that you have the power to escape everything that is about to happen and to stand in front of the Son of Man."
