As I'm on a brief getaway with my best friend for the
weekend it has been so fun and refreshing. We have had time to catch up on each
others lives and laugh and even cry together. We experience each others joys
and pains. This time is precious as we both live such busy lives. Friendships
are a gift from God but he gave us a friend better than any other when He gave
us Jesus. "I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my
joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in
the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s
life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command." John
15:11-14
