"For you have been called to live in freedom, my
brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature.
Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13
We
are so blessed to live in a free nation, however, so many times people use those
freedoms to justify bad behavior. Many feel entitled and feel the freedom is
owed them for some reason. God is so gracious that he gives us free choice as
well as grace and mercy when we choose foolishly. We should exercise our
freedom with love and kindness and be sure to serve others in the name of
Christ. Our freedom is not something we should take lightly or take for granted
and we show be grateful and return praise to God that he has called us to
freedom from the bondage of sin.
